The biggest challenge with strategic planning is that the destination changes during the journey. Designing for long-range success requires both vision and flexibility, a delicate balance that the Georgia Tech community maintained beautifully three years ago during the creation of “Designing the Future,” our 25-year strategic plan.
This annual spring update provides highlights of the many accomplishments through teaching, research, entrepreneurship, and collaborations by the Georgia Tech community.
Georgia Tech’s students, faculty, staff, and alumni have always taken great pride in their legendary work ethic and strong determination to see a project through to successful conclusion. While they have the talent and grit to achieve a great deal individually, they also know that collab orating with others can produce even more powerful outcomes, such as gaining insights into realworld problems, garner ing support for experiential learning, and securing accelerated pathways for the application of research results.
While this annual spring update provides highlights, there are many other significant accomplishments through teaching, research, entrepreneurship, and collaborations by the Georgia Tech community that together are helping to define the technological research university of the 21st century.
